Here’s everything you need to know.
WHAT TO EXPECT - BOXING 101
01. Check In
Please allow extra time for parking and your one-on-one evaluation, and plan to arrive 30 minutes before your class. Wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers, and check in with our front desk when you arrive.
03. Dynamic Warmup
We’ll kick things off with a 10-minute warmup to get your body moving and ready for class.
04. Boxing Circuit
You’ll rotate through 15–20 minutes of high-intensity rounds on the heavy bag, blending in shadowboxing, strength training, and floor work to keep the workout dynamic and full-body.
06. Check out
After class, take a few minutes to chat with your coach or connect with your classmates. Before you head out, don’t forget to grab your ID at the front desk.
For your first class, you’ll need hand wraps and gloves. Wraps are available for $12 (yours to keep), gloves are free your first visit, and $3 to rent after that. When you arrive, your coach will help you wrap your hands properly, walk you through the boxing fundamentals, and explain how the class is structured.
02. Get Ready
Wrap up your workout with a focused 5-minute ab finisher, followed by stretching on the mats to help your body recover and reset.
05. Abs and Cooldown
“Amazing gym! Been boxing for many years and as I've gotten older I've wanted a spot that has flexibility so I'm not pushed to spar or get injured. This place has it all. Fitness classes, open gym, strength training, skill building. Depending on my mood and physical condition I can cater a class to meet it. Staff is super friendly and engaging. Members are great. All the trainers here have awesome experience and skills. The spot is clean and tons of space. All the equipment is spotless and high end. A great "choose your own path" in terms of wanting to get fit, train skills, build fundamentals, gain advanced techniques, crowned has it all! Super happy to have found them!
